Before we were the Bangers, we were a small group of five or six people who got together every now and then for an afternoon to throw the ball around, take some cuts, and reconnect with the game we love. As Milwaukee Sandlot has grown into an established community of more than seventy ballplayers and two teams, this same style of laid-back, casual baseball remains the foundation of our club.

Inspired by the nostalgia and friendly, carefree energy of a backyard ballgame, Sandlot Saturdays are meant to be a coming together of baseball lovers - whether they’re first-timers or veteran ballplayers! Some outings turn into pickup games while others remain informal practices or batting practice sessions. No matter what, Sandlot Saturdays are always an open opportunity to meet new people, polish your baseball skills, and enjoy a few hours on the diamond with good people who love the game.
